Status on FCK tickets and season cards

F.C. Copenhagen's Communication Manager Jes Mortensen has given some extra light on the current status of ticket, season ticket and subscription holders.

Jes spoke in today's podcast about how FCK are working on current ticketing processes during the suspension of Danish football due to the coronavirus.

“It's a crazy complicated situation we're in, I think everyone can see. No matter which industry you are in, it is incredibly difficult to overlook the consequences of this and where it ends up," says Jes.

Single ticket sales
"If the next set of matches are also played without spectators, then of course we will refund single tickets, just as we have done for the Horsens match.

"If the matches are played with spectators, then the tickets you have bought still apply, but you can also get them refunded if it does not fit into your calendar. All ticket buyers should be notified, and this applies primarily to the Basaksehir and Randers games.

Season tickets and subscriptions
"In terms of season tickets and subscriptions, we've chosen to kick it to the corner right now, because we honestly don't know how many matches this is going to affect, which is why it's really hard to find a solution that makes sense at this current time.

"It is only this one match against Horsens that we have had that is actually played without spectators. But firstly, we do not know if the rest of the matches will be played at all, and we do not know whether it will be with or without spectators, and when it will be. So it's quite simply and frankly almost impossible for us to assess right now what the right solution is.

"That is why we hope that people have patience and understanding that we are in a difficult situation. We also have ongoing dialogue with other clubs in Denmark, with the Divisional Association and with clubs abroad, on how to best handle this situation. For it is the whole football industry in Europe that faces this challenge.

"There are an awful lot of scenarios, and we all look at the time in terms of how far this goes before we can make a point and draw some conclusions."
